Why can't I put Entrances and Exits underground in Rollercoaster Tycoon 3?

I have recently built a rollercoaster where the station is underground but It won't let me put an Entrance underground. Is there any way I can get around this without moveing the ground below the place where I am going to put the Entrance?

mmm, you normally can ??  Try raising the ground a bit, the entrances are quite tall.

Did you try to SHIFT? If you did, then you could be experiencing a glitch, also like the dude above my said, try raising the ground, or depending on how low it is, you can lower the land below.
