I can't read some of the text on for example some japanese official homepages.. like the bands : SuG's, s***w's, It only says these kind of signs instead of the actual text. I have that thing installed that makes you able to see kanji, hiragana and katakana but it still won't work.. Any ideas?

  1. Because it's in Japanese.

  2. Up on the menu bar, click view, then character encoding, then Japanese.

It might be on unicode and being read incorrectly.

If not, then they didn't encode it correctly.

I checked SuG's page, their encription is incorrect.  It appears to be junk.

As for s***w, I have never heard of them.
