Why can't I register Yahoo Auction singapore with my valid credit card?

I keyed in my valid credit card no for registration for yahoo auction singapore but it keeps telling me that my credit card is not recognised or valid. Why is this so? I tried another card and same thing happened. Both cards are valid til 2011 and 2012.

hey, i face the same problem and email to yahoo customer care. no reponse from them. is the auction closing too?

if this site is located in Singapore you can't use your card as it's a foreign country

same would be if you visited there the systems aren't set up to  accept your card
