On my BT Yahoo homepage I can change the layout and content, but I can't remove the irritating advert that takes up a lot of space.....

I pay a lot of hard earned money to BT for Broadband and other services, I can stop cold-callers from ringing my phones but I can't stop this advertising annoying the h**l out of me everytime I log-on...

Help me please some-one.......

  2. Hi - this is a question i have asked BT Yahoo! several times over the past few weeks (ever since the new joke of a 'home page' was forced on us.  All I get told is "you can't remove the advert". I want to know why the USERS can not at least minimise the damned advert.  Some 'genius' at BT Yahoo! managed (at long last) to get the irritating 'My Quicklinks' thing to stay minimised.  So perhaps it would be possible to let the PAYING CUSTOMERS minimise or, better still, remove the advert.

Of more pressing concern is the lack of configurabilty of the entire 'home page'.  The 'Personal Assistant' is irritating in that you can't add or subtract modules - you get six modules and you can only chage four of them... WHY?

How hard can it be for BT Yahoo! to actually listen to it's customers?  There have been a vast number of complaints regarding the joke that is the new BT Yahoo! 'home page'.
