Why can't I save pictures on my computer?

whenever i try to save a picture, i cant. "The RPC server is unavailable" pops out. ??? it only started happening today. what can i do?

RPC or remote procedure Call has been used in the past by virus makers (Remember Sasser & Blaster??)  I hope you have a good AV & you have been updating your system regularly ( Windows Updates are ON & do regularly update your Anti Virus)..

System Restore might not be of any use here.. i can be found in Start?Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System restore>Restore my computer to an earlier time>chose day before yesterday>next...
