Why can't I see my camera in my computer?

I downloaded my software for my Sanyo camera but it is not showing up in "My Computer" for me to veiw my pictures

  1. Save yourself from the headache by getting a USB card reader. You'll never have to deal with any driver (software) again.

    Also, you won't drain the camera's battery. In mid transfer-if it dies on you, you may lose some files. Furthermore, it can be charged for so many times and then you'd have to get a new one.
