Question:

Why can't I see the images on my ssl page?

I've moved one of my pages into an ssl subfolder as we have a lot of private transfer of information. Now when I open that page up every image is boxed out with a little red "x"; even the navigation buttons.

  1. Make sure your image ref links in that page use the https protocol.  You may have to move a copy of the images into the SSL folder.

If you try to view an SSL page that contains image links to images that are not secured, a browser will either ask you if you want to view the images from a non-secured source.  if you say 'no' then then show the red 'x's.

    example:

    http://www.mysite.com/images/Sun.jpg needs changed to

    https://www.mysite.com/images/Sun.jpg
