  1. What is your set?

  2. My DAB has two settings, one for digital FM and one for DAB, so i am wondering if yours in the same ?? on FM i get BBC but not all off them, on DAB i get everything and track info and more.. Sorry not much help i know but its all i can think of ??..

  3. The BBC multiplex might be weak in your exact spot (not just location) as it can be patchy in small areas of a room. This means you'll probably need a better aerial or move it around a bit. Mine at home has a weak area in one corner of the room - if you point the aerial there it goes off, but in the rest of the room it's fine. I also have a Pure One radio at work and it doesn't like the MXR Midlands multiplex (which has The Arrow, Kerrang, Heart and some others) and the signal is really patchy even though I'm right by the centre of Birmingham. Because DAB has more than 1 station on a single frequency (known as a multiplex) if that frequency is weak, it will take out all the stations that are broadcasting on there. This is also the reason why Freeview and Sky channels go off in groups. It's like when you move an FM radio around and it hisses - if a DAB signal gets that weak it will just go off or make a gargling noise, because it's a digital signal with bits missing. It all depends on how strong the signal is in the bit of air that your aerial's in - and it can be really fussy.
