Why can't I stop crying?

Recently, I keep bursting into tears for no reason at all - because of various adults in my family, such as my parents and my grandparents. For example, I went out for the day with my Nan, and it was a great day, she bought me lots of clothes, we went to see Mama Mia, we ate McDonald's. But then the following night I slept at my friends house, and I missed my Nan so much. Why do I keep feeling this way? Its not just with her, its just at random times with like my Dad and my Grandfather as well.

  1. you are probably suffereing from depression- whatever the reason. i would suggest seeking help for this because it can easily spin out of control

  2. Putting this question under mental health was a wise choice.  You may be crying just about anything and everything because of a depression of some sort.  That happened with me some years back.  My life was great, there was nothing predominently wrong and yet I would burst out crying and not even know why.  I eventually went to a clinic and saw a psychiatrist who I met with on a weekly basis and he prescribed medication for me that really, really helped me.  And, he helped me to understand why things were bothering me.

In your case, you may not realize it but maybe you get so upset because you love these people so much and fear that something will happen to them or that you won't always be able to be with them and that scares you and hurts you.\

You mentioned your Grandma, your Grandfaher and your Dad, saying that you feel that way about them too.  You didn't mention your Mom, although you did say "my parents" in a part of your question.  I just found that curious, wondering if maybe there was something going on with your Mom.  Like is she sick and your afraid?  I don't know.

Hope you can help yourself to feel better and just enjoy the times you spend with your family.  There's a saying in latin, "Carpe Diam" and it means, sieze the day!  That's what you've gotta try to do.  Take each day and make the best of it and enjoy it as much as you can and not worry about maybe not having another day like that.  Just try to be happy.

  3. Step 1: Ensure your emotion is controlled daily. Don't over reacted, stay calm and don't get worry easily

Step 2: Think before your action. Don't repeat her past experience on herself. Remind herself from time to time.

Step 3: Be confident to yourselves. Remember everyone is the winner. "Only One sperms out of millions fertilize an egg"

Step 4: Get a group of close friends to share your experience and get some activities that would occupied your time

Step 5: Increase scope of life. Meaning that she should involve in more social activities like dancing, outing and others.

Step 6: Put a rubberband on the wrist. If there is a negative thought, Tighten the rubber band and release it. Hence the effect of the pain would be able to reduce the possibility of negative thought.

    Good Luck.
