Why can't I switch My Yahoo! to the beta version?

Question

We have 2 PC's and my wife has My Yahoo! beta while I get an error screen that says that says the beta version is only offered in certain countries. We live in Canada. I switched my mail to beta and even downloaded Y! toolbar; it didn't help.

Hello pei_mer

Begin by changing your Yahoo! ID card. Login at http://account.yahoo.com/ and scroll to "Member Information" and select "Edit".  Scroll to "Preferred Content" and change to "Yahoo! U.S." or your preference.

If this suggestion doesn't allow you to use the new My Yahoo! please "Add Detail" to your post for a better solution.
