I got a black nano ipod. These days, when I transfer music to this, it's ok. However, after I plug-out (of course safe remove) the cable, the music is gone. How can I fix it?

  1. sometimes when you delete songs the trasfer does not complete! but you may have put it into a different playlist so you could chack that out!

  2. Definitely make sure you wait until the iPod screen says 'OK to disconnect.' If you can't figure out why it's deleting stuff, the next time it's connected go to your iPod on the left hand menu. Press 'sync.' This is called a manual sync and automatically transfers all music to your iPod from iTunes.

If, when you disconnect it, the music is gone again you may want to return it because there's a possiblity it's a faulty product.

  3. some times you have to reset your ipod. you hold down either the center button and the pause button.....or the center button and the menu botton. i havnt done it in a while so i cant remember wich. and then try to plug it back in again.

  4. are you sure you clicked the sync to ipod button and not just drag the music into your iTunes library? Because this doesn't make much sense. If the music gets transferred through the cable, it should already be in the iPod and not deleted when you remove it.

  5. you prob need to reset your ipod.

    Its really easy

Plug your ipod into the computer, and bring up itunes. Click on your ipod in the left column. It should bring up a pic of your ipod, how much memory is on it, ect. on that page there is a reset button. Click it. Thats it. good luck

  6. you need to transfer the music from your library to the iPod and then wait a bit until it syncs it, if you wan to make sure it is sync'd try clicking the sync iPod option on the lower right corner (iTunes)

    also plug-out correctly, thats important

  7. get limewire!

  8. First off, make sure it finished syncing before you take it out.

And under your settings, it says "sync check-marked songs" so that might be the problem, unless you changed it.

You could also try to make a different playlist for the songs on your iPod, that's what I do.
