Question:

Why can't I synch my Zune with my computer?

I downloaded & installed the Zune software, connected my Zune and followed the instructions. My Zune displays a "connected " message, however...I can't find the Zune on my computer. Then after a few minutes, a pop-up screen appears on my computer saying, "Your video hardware is not compatible with this software" and then when I'm about to click on the displayed link to find out more about the problem... another pop-up appears saying "Zune has encountered a critical eror and needs to close" then everything shuts down and reverts to my desktop screen. By the way, I have a HP pavilion a430n, but I don't know if it has a Pentium 3 or 4, a video card or chip,or if I need a VGA card or PCI x16 expansion slot upgrade to make my Zune compatible with my computer. Please help :(

  1. What versoin of Windows are you using? You have to be using Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (Home, Professional, Tablet PC, Media Center Edition 2005) or Windows Vista (all editions).

For all the system requirements go here.... http://www.zune.net/en-us/products/zunes...

You might just need to uninstall the software and reinstall it.
