Why can't I transfer files from my laptop to my Blackberry 8100?

I have a blackberry 8100 and I bluetooth connected the phone to my Sony Vaio CR320E and I am able to connect, however when I attempt to send files from my computer to my phone, I am unable to do so. I get an error message suggesting it is the phone that is not performing correctly. Someone, anyone, please tell me what I am doing wrong & what 2 do right!!! THANX!!

You need to call your carrier and talk to Blackberry Support. I work for Blackberry support for Sprint/Nextel, I could help you with this, but there are quiet a few steps. You may need to delete the pin folders. The best advice for you would be to call your carrier. Who knows you could be talking to me!

On the BlackBerry do this:

Go to Media > Music/Ringtones/Pictures/Video (one of the four). Press the menu key and then select Receive Using Bluetooth. Then try to copy the file from the computer.
