Question:

Why can't I upload more than one picture in my Yahoo! 360? I do upload more but they don't show up. Why?

I upload multiple pictures (JPEG FORMAT) they are below 2 MB, but still they don't show up.

Here's a link to my 360:

http://uk.360.yahoo.com/profile-.oFikWIjRLINkZd7ipGo6eLVHVE-

As you can see there, there is only my avatar...but I want to post other pictures.

I do upload them, but they don't show up.

I have to remove my current picture and upload a different one to post a different picture.

It just doesn't work right.

I use Firefox 3 (although I had this problem when I used Firefox 2) and Internet Explorer 6 (I had the same problem while I used IE7 and IE8)

I can't add my Yahoo! Avatar either..it does appear when I click on the link saying "Add your avatar" and the avatar shows up...but when I click on "Save" and I'm taken back to my page, the Yahoo! Avatar is not there.

Please tell me how to resolve this problem.

<:^_^:>

Have a Good Day!

Regards,

  2. try doing smaller ones

  3. UPDATED:

Some people can't post any images, so consider yourself fortunate. You may still find people with 4 pics in the module though. What you can do before on a 360 space, isn't necessarily what you can do now. That's just how it goes.

I recommend that you leave the module completely alone because it can cause other serious problems on your page like it making your Top Page very long - which may or may not be fixable. You can also lose your remaining spots. There is really nothing that can be done about this issue and if you try to mess with it, you are taking the risk of having worse things happen. This has been a buggy module for a long time.

It's the same deal with the avatar in that module. You can remove images to see if that will free up a spot for the avatar or try to add images to different spots, but again, that is a RISK.

Also, please note the 360 community guidelines (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/gui... ) regarding mature content. The personal profile area is a public area, which can't be changed from that status. Adult images must be placed ONLY in the blog under mature content controls. If you have been reported for adult images in that module or in the 360 background, then Yahoo could have removed those images. This inadvertently could have resulted in those spots being lost as well.

NOTE: The Y!360 team is no longer fixing glitches, so there is no point in contacting them. They are preparing to move the service to a new platform in the 2nd half of 2008, which you can read about here: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 or by clicking the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space.

  4. i found that you have crop your picture, even though you don't want to. just make the cropping box sized to fit your entire picture, that's how i got mine to upload.
