  1. I don't know what is wrong with your camera, but if you formatted it, you erased all of your pictures!

I would  get a new memory card and format it before you start using it.  Also get a card reader so you can skip using your camera to transfer your pictures.  You put your memory card into the card reader and then plug it into a USB port on your computer.  That will save a lot on your camera's batteries.

Maybe you should take your camera to a good camera store and see if they can help you with your problem.

  2. To safely remove hardware you click on the "stop" icon.

Once the comp is done with the card it'll tell you it's safe to remove it.

As mentioned above, if you've formatted the card your pics are gone.

You'll have to look around for recovery software and hope you can salvage some of your stuff.

It sounds like you're using a card reader.  If so, open computer or "my computer" (click start>>>Computer) and see if an icon for your card pops up as removable drive. If so, open it and see if there's anything on it.

  3. First your computer is indicating that you can safely remove your card without messing up with the memory. When you are on your computer, and your card is inserted, go to MY COMPUTER. Go to FOLDER so you can find which drive your card is on. When you find which drive your card is on, click on it so you can see what's in it. If you can see your pictures, you can copy and paste or highlight and drive to a file on your computer. Once you format your card in your camera, everything is going to be erased in it. If it keeps asking to be formated, go to a camera store and see what you are doing wrong or the camera is doing wrong.

  4. first check that there is no virus in your system and then try reinstalling the software of the card reader ,unplug it and the plug it .maybe this wil help.

if no then there is some problem in the card itself .take it to the dealer.
