Why can't I use Mineral Oil and Colace together?

I remember a few years back when my family doctor prescribed both to me and they worked wonders. Now, when I was feeling a bit constipated and bloated I figured I would try both again but it always states on labels of both medications not to use together. Anybody have an answer?

mineral oil should not be consumed or used on the skin as it depletes the body of all vitamin e and is unhealthy.

it also inhibits the absorption of the importan vitamin c and d

Both products do the same thing you could end up with diarrhea.

I never thougth I would run into someone who didn't mind the mineral oil, It made me almost puke. As far as the colace, it did nothing for me. Personally, I am going to congratulate you for having the "big ones" to chock that stuff down, especially together.
