  1. I do not know.  However, I am having the same problem.  Also Google groups (gmail and websearch) are getting similar inquiries.

I wonder if it has something to do with the latest microsoft xp update.

My situation occurred right after I loaded it.

    Please help.

  2. It's probably one of the following:

    1.  Browser settings are incorrect.  Either you are a setup for a proxy, have the site (possibly accidentally) blocked, or need a proxy that you don't have.

    2.  Your DNS is broken or cached incorrectly or you've got an inaccurate entry in your HOSTS file (normally \windows\system32\drivers\etc) ... Sometimes virus scanners will adjust those settings or it can be the result of a "toolbar" you added to IE / Firefox.

    3.  Your internet provider has lost it's route to Google for whatever reason.   That can be anything from cut cables to bad routers to bad caching.

    4. Maybe you typed it incorrectly.  Try searching for Google from Yahoo or something.

  3. check what you typed in, make sure it's not oogle.com :)
