Why can't I use my 360 pic as my avatar?

It won't let me use it. I see people changing their avatars repeatedly and I can't even get it to use my pic. What's up?

You can. Go to your Q&A profile

Click on 'edit my info'

Click on the frame to show your 360 photo.

Preview and click OK

So have your photo set to public on your 360.

No adult theme or content

You need to be of age to use a photo of your self on the Q&A.

If this is all ok then This is a Yahoo bug, The transtion and updating their web site setting up the new social network is causing bugs all in 360. This is also making things run slow.

You can do as you have , but you may have to go without a photo or avatar for as much as three days, because some said it took them from a few days to a week.

If after a few days and still have not showed up, try it again.

Make sure you set your 360 photo as primary and save

360 and answers and avatars are not been getting along for months now, they have their good days and bad days.LoL

I am not sure, but it may have something to do with the fact that your yahoo ID is an e-mail address rather than a regular user name.  I haven't had a problem.  All I did was check the circle that said use 360 picture.
