    **Edited for "Added Detail"**

Common culprits are outdated virus protection software including their temporary files  (browser cache) and cookies, outdated browsers and privacy settings, and it could be your wireless connection "dropping and hopping".  All or any combination of these can cause temporary connection issues to the entire Internet or specific sites.

Outdated virus protection can cause a range of viewing issues from "freezing" to not loading at all. Temporarily turn off virus protection and see if the page loads or restart your browser and see if it improves.  Immediately turn on virus protect and don't leave it turned off. Delete the browser's Temporary files and cookies.

For Windows XP and Vista use the Windows Update link on your Start/Programs menu to install the latest Internet Explorer then change browser "Privacy" settings to "Medium", click: Tools, Internet Options, Privacy, Medium.

If you're using wireless you may need to set the default connection to prevent hopping to other available connections. When hopping occurs you temporarily lose contact with the Internet.

If you're having trouble only with My Yahoo!, scripts may be blocked, loading slowly or failing for other reasons.  Update your system to narrow the cause of the page not opening.

    Best wishes,
