  1. I thought it was Kentucky because it's not made in kentucky

  2. To deemphasize the word chicken  because they were planning to add many more non chicken items to the menu such as ribs, pork  etc.

To deemphasize the word fried as people are more health conscious today.

Because acronyms are popular and easier to remember and say, IHOP, LBJ'S , TGI Fridays ....

Or if you're feeling like that is not interesting enough :

    Lol... Frankenchicken

  3. IDK, I never heard of that

  4. They can use the word chicken, that myth was debunked years ago. They changed their name to KFC because they wanted to disassociate the word FRIED from the product...which is odd because you do there for fried chicken!. They recently decided to switch back to Kentucky Fried Chicken...most of the SoCal locations no longer say KFC...

  5. i dont know

  6. Terry's right, they are trying to get more customers so if they stop using the word fried, they assume more people will eat there if it's not heavily advertised.

  7. It's the word fried they are trying to avoid by using KFC.

  8. Yes, I also thought they were trying to take away from their "fried" aspect which is dumb because everything is fried there :) Well, except for the coleslaw or mashed potatoes :)
