The only positive of having no record or no experience is that there is no baggage to go with it.  The complete lack of record and substance allowed his marketing guys to mold his image into whatever they wanted it to be--thus his ridiculous, messiah-like presence for the first part of the campaign.

he was elected in 2004, 90% of his voting activity took place in 2007, AFTER Hillary and edwards were tearing him apart on his non existent voting record. so he started voting like crazy to get his record up.

this is fact, that web site lists all votes and bills that went through congress. it cant lie.

anyway. notice what bills he voted present on! Any bill that might come back and bite him in the ***, is the ones he voted present on. instead of making a stand he went present. this way he could be questioned later about the stand he took on the important bills. but voting present gave him "voting creditability". not really, but he thinks so.

alsoi, if you look through the library and search all senators. obama is the ONLY senator in the history of congress that has used, "present" the most, and that just in his short 3 years, well, just 2007 actually. notice all his voting record is in 2007.

the only other senator to use "present" alot of times, was only 29 times.

mccain has missed 329 votes in 22 years.

obama has missed 297 votes in 3 years!

obama has also voted with his party 97% of the time. that is when he actually went yes or no.

also, the library of congress shows "rollcall" thats the active days since they have been elected that they actually worked.

Obama according to the library of congress has a whole 143 days of actual service since 2004 in congress.

all these figures can NOT be denied. this is straight from the library of congress.

It's is all about change. Ha! Ha!  What I am afraid of is if the US faces another attack, my guess is that Obama and Pelosi's group will take another vacation.  No one knows about Obama and we will see what he is really like when he debates twice with McCain and Biden will debate once against Palin before the election.

Obama is a far-left ideologue.  If he voted according to his true ideology, he would expose himself as the socialist that he is.  That is not a good strategy if you are planning on running for president.  So his only recourse was to vote "present".
