Why can't Personal Assistant be moved on My Yahoo?

Since we are all being FORCED to the new My Yahoo on the 14th I would like to know how come the personal assistant can NOT be moved over to the left side of the screen. With it on the right I always have to scroll over to see it. Also how do I delete some of the garbage out of it? I have no use for Horoscopes or portfolios.

All I need is to see when I have new mail. NOT preview, just an alert. This is just poor planning on Yahoo's part. My Yahoo is suppose to be customizable. Yet they fail on the most basic part.

I answered this in a previous question.  Maybe if enough people will object to the new My Yahoo, then we'll be allowed to keep the old page. I agree.

I don't like the new page either. The old one was so much better. More colors, more choices. Some of my items are not in the new page that were in the old page. I don't like having to switch to something that is of no interest to me. I would like to change the modules to what I want, rather than have something I don't want. Is there somewhere we can complain to keep the old Yahoo page?  

When enough people give up their Yahoo acounts, and switch over to Google, then maybe Yahoo will give them what they want.

1- there's no alert 4 your mail i just checked on my page sorry & i deleted the PERSONAL ASSISTANT

2- as you see the module on it say the name then have 3 buttons next 2 it RE-FRESH, EDIT MODILE, & DELETE if you don't want certain modules you can DELETE them. & if you don't want the personal assistant DELETE it.. it's not so bad you can have as many modules you like & you can extend them from 5 to 10 to keep on top of thing which what i like about the modules...glad 2 answer :)
