Why can't Teixeira come back to atlanta?

OK I know Teixeira was traded to the Angels and stuff. But why cant he sign back with the Braves at the end of the year when hes a free agent?

The only reason the Braves traded him was because he wanted to much money to resign.

Now that the Braves got a good young first baseman in Kotchman in the deal, why would they want to sign Teixeira? In any case, they only traded him because they knew they wouldn't be able to re-sign him.

The braves can try to sign him back at the end of the season, but will most likely not be able to. Teams will usually trade a high-priced player if they do not think they have a chance on re-signing them.

he can sign back with the braves if they offer it to him, but his contract is way too much and most clubs cant pay his kind of price
