Isn't there anything that can be done to help the baby whale stranded in Austrailia? They are considering "mercy killing" because it is slowly starving to death now. It seems like such a loss to do such a thing. I know there are so many other important issues in our world today, but I looked up the humpback whale and found out that it is classified as endangered species. I just wonder if there is any organization that can help this baby whale out.

  1. The only thing I can do is pray for it. I hope someone has mercy, and is able to do something about this. We are al living creatures sharing one planet. We need to take care of each other. Goodluck and God Bless.

  2. Baby whales are dependent on their mothers for milk, direction and protection. From what I understand, this whale got separated from its mother. Without its mother it won't survive in the wild. Unless they can get it adopted by another whale it sounds like this one is out of luck.
