Why can't boys and girls have sleepovers together?

We're doing a debate thing and our topic is this:Should boys and girls be allowed to have sleepovers together?

well my nine year old is about to have a sleepover with 2boys 2 girls (including her) and i dont see the problem of that. boys make gr8 mates. plus:

1.she grew up with one and they like saw eachother nearly every day 2.they r sleeping in different rooms (we have 2 lounges) 3.they r 9!

the oldest u should have mixed sleepovers is probably 13- i saw other blogs talking about 16 year olds (boy and girls having a sleepover! then r just gonna say mommy we r old enough for s*x)  XD

i want to have a sleepover with 3boys and 2 girls .im 12 years old and one of the boys is my boyfriend ,we have had going out for 10 months and 6 days . but the boys will sleep in the living room . do you thing anything will happen if i have a mother and father here with us.:-0

I think it all depends on who it is, like if you are under 9, grew up with him/her, and ya'll are like family it is ok. The main issue is s*x.
