Why can't conduction, convection and advection occur in space?

  1. All of those heat transfer methods require a medium - gas, liquid or solid.  Heat is transferred from warmer molecules to adjacent cooler ones in conduction.  Heat is transferred by moving gas or liquid in convection/advection.   Space is essentially a vacuum.  Molecules are not dense enough to transfer heat to one another,  there is not a dense enough gas to convect -    leaving only radiation as the heat transfer method.


  2. it does. but today's science is like the day of galileo galilei where everybody accepted today's scientifically answers, in reality scientist don't have any solid and concrete answers. there are just guesses to describe a system as good as possible.
