  1. because most contries don't want to do what makes the most sense.


  2. because carbon is 2% of greenhouse gases and trees become carbon-neutral when they finish growing?

  3. We have plenty of trees. Have you ever thought about where the forest came. People didn't plant the trees, they grow on their own. I have 5 acres and have problem with pine trees, they grow every where. In my part of the country there are forest every where. People who live in the cities complain the most on YA, yet they are the biggest part of the problem. Move to the country, there's plenty of room for everyone.

  4. Because finding alternative sources of energy is currently a more important issue.  Planting trees is .. useful and of course, preservation of forested areas is even better but energy issues are especially pressing right now.
