The Republicans can point out what is wrong with the Democrats. The Democrats can point out what is wrong with the Republicans. Yet, the Republicans cannot point out what is wrong with it's party and the Democrats cannot point out what is wrong with it's party, why?

  1. they want to win

  2. Your a ******* genius.

They should give awards for people who make such awesome points.

    [I'm not being sarcastic]

That would be awesome, but like the other guy said it'd be like.. political suicide.

    :]

  3. People have gotten so out of touch with reality they actually believe it's the other party's job to point out their party's shortcomings. It never occurs to them how absurd that belief is.

What it really amounts to is lack of moral courage by each party to admit their faults and the fact and recognition that the other party won't return the favor by admitting their own faults.

Can you imagine how ridiculous it would look if we expected our enemies in our personal lives to point out whats wrong with us ?! It's pretty obvious that civilization would break down quickly. But for some strange reasons its different in the political arena.

  4. If Republicans were to do that, it would basically be the equivalent of handing the presidency to Obama on a silver platter

  5. I can point out that democrats have to be better debaters & get real about the nastiness of the Republicans. We like to stay in our peaceful world but we have to be able to stand up better for ourselves. Lives depend on it. I don't know what we can do about the voter fraud but his is important. I don't know what we can do to overpower people like Rupert Murdock. We need to be able to understand why people are choosing to vote against there own best interests & we have to be able to clearly communicate to them how this hurts them. We don't understand how someone as corrupt as Palin who has no substance can be applauded for as long as she was last night. We just don't get it. I have tried to get explanations but as good as I am at doing that in all other areas this is still a mystery...We have to learn to be good lawyers. An innocent person can go to court with a bad lawyer & end up in jail while a guilty one can end up going free. We have to stop putting our trust so much in God & changing ourselves. If we don't win people perish....I think Obama is doing a great job though. The polls are showing he is winning & the electorate. Will the republicans pull things that cause people to go towards them? I think they will & we are not good at this kinds of tricks...so if integrity doesn't get you the win we could possibly lose.

  6. I hear the republicans pointing out things with the GOP all the time.

  7. It is easier to find flaws in others than in yourself.  Besides, it would be horribly detrimental to both parties to do this.

  8. uhhhh..  maybe because "right" and "wrong" are kind of subjective terms.  And parties are composed of lots and lots of different people with different takes on things

  9. Because it would be political suicide.

My God, and your screename is common sense?

  10. That is never going to happen.  Admitting there is something wrong is like a weakness - it just won't ever happen.  Sad for America, isn't it?
