Why can't female nipples be shown in America?

I live in America, but it seems that European countries are much more relaxed about sexuality than us. I think they realize that violence is a lot more damaging to a child than s*x (although I was never really scarred from either).

I think that blurring the picture every time b*****s appear simply draws one's attention to something which one might otherwise accept as perfectly natural in context. It is particularly sad to see Honeytea, who may well have been a breastfed baby herself, put her fear of what people might think before what most people would agree would be best for her child. She is far from alone in this, but it is regrettable that public opinion should deprive a child and mother of what in the UK is described as "best for baby, best for you [the mother]".

A good example is the Janet Jackson/justin timberlake fiasco that happened at the superball half-time show, her breast was exposed for half a second not enough time to register the word nipple to your brain, the next day, America lost it's d**n mind about it!!

Because they are seen as s*x toys. Which is inappropriate to see in public.

It's very rude to flash your b*****s in public, especially when you're breastfeeding. It makes some people uncomfortable and I don't care how natual it is.

I know it's really hypocritical that men can show theirs but they are not sexual. But that's just the way society works I'm afraid.

There are small kids about who would look disgusted, that's why it's not a good idea to show them.I didn't breastfeed in public, I bottlefed because I knew I would feel uncomfortable breastfeeding in front of a bunch of people I didn't know.

What makes you think s*x would be damaging to a child?! I know that violence never solved anything!
