Before CD's & DVD's disc, we used cassette tapes for music & VHS tapes for movies and videos. What I'm saying is why can't the world start replacing "disc" all together with SD cards & flash drives as storage for movies and music and start sellin them in stores. INSTEAD OF AN ALBUM OR MOVIE BEING ON A CD OR DVD "DISC", WHY CAN'T IT CAN BE SOLD ON AN SD CARD OR FLASH DRIVE?

  1. I use mine for this purpose already, I am just waiting till someone gets smart enough to equip video players with a plug to play them.

  2. They probably will soon

  3. Different and incompatible technology.

  4. I hope sds replaces dvds soon, They just need to make them have bigger capacities and to have better anti pirating techology. I am so sick of renting DVDs which are scratched and unplayable or having to lose a chapter because of it.
