Why can't good spirits be summoned?

Good or helpful spirits can indeed be summoned. Why would you think otherwise? I have frequent contact with my spirit guide.

They can, through prayer. Prayer is 'first defense' against dark spiritual forces. That's one reason it's so effective--unbelievers don't use it!

Because there is no such thing.If you are a christian,the answer is the bible tells you so.Personally I go with the first.

If you mean via Ouija board or other 'spirit summoning' tools, it's most likely because 'dark spirits' are often perceived as daemons. Since daemons were never human, they never die and 'move on' where as humans (typically good spirits) move on. In common belief, when a good spirit of a family member or loved one moves on, they will never be summoned, so they can watch their loved ones from heaven.

If you are positive, nothing neede to be summened.  You will finde that all positive spirits exist naturally.  They need no calling.

As I prayed to God for help and protection, they came to my aid, I seen at least three good spirits taking care of me and my son. Erica my spirit guide was the one that communicated many times, and show her self to me many times, gentle, compassionate, comforting, beautiful voice, my first thought was she's and angel, she always has a gentle touch, she help encourage me to go on, guiding and teaching me for four years, and she still checks in. I wish everyone could experience the things I have...she was surely sent by God as I prayed she came that very night and stayed with me till I was strong enough. She did say that she will always be there with me in all my battles. And as I ascertain reflecting on my past she was there as I did see spirits all my life and have survived many near death experiences.

Good spirits can be summoned, through prayer when seriously needed, as your prayers are concern and heart felt.

Prayer to God is always best to ensure bad spirits don't come. When you pray to God it's like tuning into the spiritual world, especially because God is Spirit. I pray to God and ask him for help, and He is the one who sends good spirits. Or you can ask God to send your spirit guide, I've done that, and when I fall off to sleep she sometimes comes.

spirits and ghost are around all the time, and they are both good and bad.  there is really no need to call on either since they are already around.

I believe good spirits are with us as we need them, bad spirits answer to callings because they have something they need to have released, they really don't care about you.

most good spirits don't stick around planet earth after their souls go.  the good people go to heaven, remember?
