  1. If you can write/draw manga, I think you could be a mangaka!

If you want to become a "real" mangaka, with your manga being published in Japan in Japanese, you should learn Japanese and move to Japan :3

    Good luck!

  2. hahaha if u can draw anime then i say u can be a mangaka *my hispanic friend got a manga contract with vismedia.

  3. you don't have to be japanese to be a mangaka. the important thing is you can imagine stories and you can draw manga. i believe that you can be one!!!!

  4. Hmmm....If u really think u can do, the bring it on..

Its has nothing to do with nationality or races as long as u love anime and manga...

here i have a good manga for u to take a look as a revision..

  5. A mangaka is a manga author. Being that manga are comic books, in essence, they are comic book authors. And comics are universal, so yes, you can become a mangaka. If you are wanting to have your comic published as a true manga, then you would have to move to Japan and have it published over there first. Otherwise, it would be what I call Ameri-manga, which is a comic book with manga-style artwork that is published in America. But both are the same in that they are comic books, and it really doesn't matter as long as you have a loyal audience, right?

  6. Well... I don't see what's wrong with calling yourself a mangaka; but i can see where people would get annoyed by it too. Don't over do it by writing comments like: OMG THAT'S SO KAWAII!!!!11111!!ONE!!
