Each state has its own regulations regarding owning slot machines. In California, the machine must be at least 25 years old. It is then considered an antique and legal to own.

The one you're interested in buying might be newer than that. If so, nobody will ship it to any address in California.

Some states don't allow them at all, regardless of age. Some allow newer ones.

Check around on various sites. There are plenty of machines 25 years and older out there, and you shouldn't have any legal issues with them.
