Why can't i drink alchohol if i am taking antibacterial medicine once a day? what can happen to me?

  1. Some you can get away with a drink but others you will Vomit and feel horribly sick.


  2. It will impair the absorption of the antibiotic from your intestinal tract into the bloodstream.

  3. nothing will happen to you,,but the antibiotics wont work

  4. I don't know the reason, but I do know some antibiotics are really hard on the liver cells. Drinking alcohol when your liver is already working hard and/or being damaged or hurt by the antibiotic means even more damage for your poor liver. Wait until you are done with the treatment then drink.
