Why can't i get my wii controllers to work?

Try to synchronize the wii remotes if you scrochinize the wii balance board for more than 10 seconds, all wii remotes will be erased(even the balance board)

Also, if you have one controller that is still synced with the Wii, you can press the Home button on that controller.

You can choose the Sync controllers from that screen, and you will press 1 and 2 simultaneously for your Wii to find them.

Try synching the remotes if you haven't done so already.

-Remove the battery cover on the back of the remote you are trying to synch. Press and release the red SYNC button inside the cover. The lights on the front will blink.

-Open the SD card slot cover on the front of the Wii console and press and release the red SYNC button.

-When the lights on the front of the remote stop blinking, the connection is complete. Your remote is now synched. The light that is illuminated indicates the player number.

Also, check to see if the batteries are dead.
