Why can't i import playlist from my windows media player to my itunes library??

why is itunes so friggin complicated??....the playlist is full of legitimate songs ..and when i "import" from itunes the playlist jsut wont go there....so depressing....why must we build a playlist every time we want to fill our ipods?..so time consuming...ipods "s***....sigh

  1. restart your computer and download the the new software for itunes 7.7.1

  3. The good news: You can save your WMP playlist as an M3U type, and then iTunes will recognize it. First double click the list to play it. Then File > Save Now Playing List As... > *.m3u. Save it. Then use File > Import in iTunes to import it.

    The bad news: If the songs are already in your library iTunes will create duplicate entries. The new play list won't transfer to an iPod because of this.

    That's my experience, at least. iTunes is not good at stuff like this.
