Why can't i move my pictures to a dvd r blank cd?

i remember i could trans files to cd r but why not dvd r?

You should be able to, just move the pics over to the blank disk like you were loading them onto a floppy drive and then have your drive burn the data be it pics, music or just plain files that you just burn on onto the disk.

You might just have a dvd-rom drive, which means that it would read dvds but not burn them. If you do have a dvdrw drive, it might be the dvd type. Some burners will burn dvd+r and not dvd-r, etc.
