when i open my messages i don't see the embedded images

  1. depends on what mail provider you're using, sometimes they have settings to disable it. these rarely store on the homepage of a group. your mail settings need to be individual


  2. You should be receiving "individual mail" NOT "daily digest" or "no mail" or "special notices"
