Why can't i send picture messages with my new LG Chocolate 3?

i have verizon

unlimited texting

but when i try to send i picture message it says "Message Delivery Failed"

Try sending to a different number, use the 10-digit dialing. Did that go thru?

If your Internet/mobile web is blocked, you will not be able to send or receive pix or flix. Hope this helps~
