Why can't i send things via bluetooth on my blackberry pearl?

i just got a blackberry and i want to transfer my pictures and ringtones from my old lg phone to the blackberry. the lady at the att store couldn't help. do i need a media card?

i have a blackberry! you need to go to the folder where you want to receive the files and click on the button that looks like a lot of little "D"s and click on receive using bluetooth but make sure you have already paired with the phone you are trying to receive from...  then it will say something like waiting for transfer and then you can send it from your old phone and voila!
