Why can't my group be found using the Yahoo! Group search button?

I want new people moving to our area to be able to find our group. But when you enter our name on the Groups Homepage at the "Find a Yahoo! Group" location and click the search button, it doesn't come up. Even if I change the name slightly it still isn't found. It's not a new group. What do I need to fix?

if your group is closed membership or listed as adult, it wont be in the directory. you also want to double check that you have it listed

management- under group settings click description and appearance- Description (Edit) <-- click the edit- scroll down and be sure it's checked listed- click save changes
