If their body is still undamaged, and they don't have brain trauma (say for instance, they died of asphyxiation), why can't they be brought back to life via electroshock or something similar?

  1. Asphyxiation causes damage to the brain tissue. No.

  2. People are not brought back to life because their is a cycle of human life,

people have birth, people die there children give birth, they die so on so on.

If people were brought back to life there would be more green house gases and there wouldn't be many wildlife habitats.

  3. Yes, correct, because they're afraid of a zombie apocalypse.

Just kidding! And when you're dead, they'd have to like regenerate dead cells in certain parts of your body or something. Basically, I bet you we can in the future, but for now, people are working on other medical stuff.

But if we ever do get brought back to life, maybe we will have like a zombie war or something. Maybe we'll be immortal and take over the world.

Isn't that answer more fun that the scientific one anyway?

  4. You can if its done right away (my sister died 3 months ago but shes alive now)

Theres no known way to jumpstart a brain (after you've been dead so long you brain drys up and is useless) so on the outside chance that you did bring then back to life then yes they would be a zombie, and they would be jealous of your "working" brain and thats why you would be eaten right away

  5. because when blood stops flowing to your brain or air to your brain your brain dies and even if they bring you back you will be brain dead and a vegetable which is why most doctors dont shock you until you come back to life
