  1. The world we live in is neither corrupt nor unfair, thought many of the people who live in it are both.

The standard of living in this world is better than it has ever been, with people in developed and developing countries living longer and better than at any time in the past. yet underdeveloped countries still suffer lack of food, and basic human rights.

Every government may be corrupt, but if so, then many of those governments are elected in some democratic fashion, elected fairly by the people who live and work in them. Though many people do not vote, and many countries still suffer under tyrannical regimes.

Nobody is perfect, but many people in the world today strive to improve what they have, both spiritually and materially.

It's not a dog eat dog world, primarily because while dogs fight, they do not eat the flesh of their fallen, unless forced to do so, and neither does man.

Poverty will never be banished, while those who have look on those who have nothing and refuse to do anything about it.

The world we live in now is more open than ever, with people of differing religion, culture and heritage able to communicate in many different ways. Perhaps this world we live in can never be truly at one, perhaps we will never live in a world without some degree of suffering. But that suffering is only a certainty while people accept it and do nothing.

  2. That's a pretty grim outlook on reality.  You can CHOOSE to look at things that way, or you can focus on what you'd like to see.  Indeed, there is corruption in our governments and people can be cruel, however, if you focus on those negatives then that's what you'll receive.  I agree with you in many ways.  Many of the things you say here are true, but you have to look at things from both sides.  These are blanket statements that would make even the happiest people take a hard look at reality.  Some people are more lighthearted than others.  I suggest you find someone who can brighten your world.  If you like the world you live in then fantastic!  Just try not to impose your will on people who have different perceptions of reality.  Everyone is different and everyone's opinion matters.  Focus on what you'd like to see, do, and be in YOUR world, not the problems around you.

  3. people can't face reality because reality is hard to face. it's just like saying "reality bites". yet, the only thing that we have to think about is how to live and cope up with the things that are happening in the world and how to be different in our little ways without stepping on others.

  4. Some people can, i learned to face reality although i dream a lot.

  5. It's too bad your education has gotten you to the point of skeptical nihilism. Our Founding Fathers tried to create "a more perfect union," but they were raised on the Renaissance writers who created such phrases as "the consent of the governed," and "common sovereignty," and "the rights of the people."

They were not raised by Marxist or left-leaning teachers who scorn equality of individual sovereignty, opting instead for the dictum, "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs."

The teaching profession is left-leaning. The right is hardly better, but the writers of the Renaissance are what keeps modern people full of hope that they can defeat the corrupt who think ending poverty can be done by taking your money to give to someone else. But I see you do have some hope in the US leading the way, that perhaps someday other nations will see the light of day.

Some of the have. France is more secular than even the US. In France it is illegal to knock on doors with a Bible in your hands ready to talk about religion. But that is less freedom, not more. Knocking on your door is not force or coercion, which is what government is set up to prevent.

Canada and England have free health care. But means you often wait weeks or longer to get what you need, because "the more needy" come first. That is what "to each according to his needs" means.

Learn to want and to EXPECT only what is reasonable. Dogs cant eat dogs where such force is illegal, so make it illegal. Poverty can't be gotten rid of except by declaring "From each according to his ability," and then taking everything they are able to take--to give to the needy. The only solution to poverty is to create wealth, and that is what capitalism does.

Start reading books that say the world is good, not bad, if only we manage it to be good. Get off the pity pot and stand on a soap box where everyone can hear your enthusiasm. Join the Peace Corps and "get over it."

  6. Can u face the reality of your existence. we always say this is wrong ,this is not happening right but to what extent we are accepting it.if we are accepting it then why we are not changing.

Every body know the reality but they don't have the guts to be the one to face it. if u are the one then make a difference by your existence ,do some thing. Because to change something we have to change first. if

every person in this world will accept his responsibility then there will be nice things to talk about.

we can't change any person out there but we can make an attempt to be different to do something rather than give responsibility to others

Sorry i go so far from your question.:)

there are persons who face reality and those who don't actually they are not understanding themselves they are not educated i m not saying education of collage or any degree i m saying about the education of humanity.and because they don't face them selves then how they will be able to face the other realities

  7. The reality is that you are more likely to be a victim in your mind.

  8. We live in a world that is constantly contradicting itself, there's no doubt about it. Despite all the imperfections, corruptness, injustice, poverty and general selfishness that pervades our world, we also live in a fantastic, wonderful, joyful world. Or so my seven-year-old nephew believes.

I face the total reality - all aspects - of the world every day. Is it the case that you can only see one side of it? Could it be that you, too, need to learn to face reality?

  9. Whenever a population try to emancipate themselves from this unjust society, the USA invade and kill millions of innocent people.  THAT my friend, is a fact.  It is the capitalist economic model that is evil, fortunately things are beginning to sway away from the individual greed philosophy.  However, it's probably too late anyway; the damage is done.  The European and Chinese economic systems are far superior to that of the US, and their economies are rapidly passing that of the US.  You will soon be introduced to the Amero, your new currency, as Mexico, the US and Canada are now effectively one economic unit.  Bush really has sold out the US.  We are headed into rough waters.

  10. I'm just thinking that if your words had been written a couple of hundred years ago, they would perhaps have been fitting.  But they don't take into account the mind-boggling explosion of technology and what it has wrought in the world.

It can be very hard for people to appreciate that explosion because we're surrounded by it all the time and have never known anything else, and also because many of us don't see the more severe aspects of it in our daily lives, especially if we're not on the lower parts of the economic ladder.  But it can also be hard to perceive the extent of it because it's just so mind-bogglingly big.  It was not all that long ago (a very, very short time in the context of history) that the world was a simple place.  The change has been so big and so fast--not much more than a hundred years--that it's extremely hard to deal with.  It has so totally changed life on earth that I can hardly blame people for having trouble with facing reality.  It's extremely disconcerting and anxiety-provoking.
