  1. Personally, I think it more important that I be nice >> treat people the way I want to be treated.  To be helpful & kind.  To volunteer without being asked.

But I never expect anyone to act differently than who they really are.  And if they're not nice, I avoid them.

  2. Iam a nice person but it does pay in the end plus its fun be an *** sometimes try it. Karma is in reverse any way.

  3. They have low self esteem and no life. If you don't like your self then you cant like anyone else. They try to see the bad in others because that is what they have in themselves..

  4. Because it takes so much less effort to be mean.

What can I say, people are lazy?

  5. In today's world, with all our "instant" this, and "quick fix" that, "everything's disposable" and "you have access to anything you want as long as you have the bucks", you have your "rights" as a person to be whatever you want, why would anyone want to be nice?

Some of us live in an abnormal state and away from main-stream society because we disagree with the degrading morals and lifestyles (g**s, lesbians, bi-sexuals, etc.) and are sick of having our spirits desensitized by the wars killing innocent citizens, murderers, paedophiles being let out and allowed to continue their disgusting behaviour, gangs coming from foreign countries and bringing their problems to North America, religions all claiming THEY are the only way - then try to suck you in and make you believe them too, children constantly being sexually/physically abused, killing nature off species by species, allowing the ozone layer to continue to grow and not doing anything about it. There are thousands more reasons, but I'm tired now.

In a nutshell, the reason people can't just be nice, is because they don't want to be.

  6. They are not happy with themselves..........therefore, they take their frustrations out  on other people.

  7. Generally speaking, it has to do with a lack of empathy for others. It also comes from a low self esteem, and thinking (either consciously or subconsciously) that bullying someone else or putting them down will help with their self esteem.

Additionally, not actually having any repercussions tends to make people less inclined to be nice. It's why people are meaner on the internet. I guarantee a vast majority of those people slinging insults on the net wouldn't do it face to face.

  8. Sorry to read that.  You must have a lot of bad people around you?  Majority of the people are nice, as long as you don't step on them.  And if they're being mean because of stereotype, then they're just ignorant and there's nothing you should worry about because its not your fault.
