Why can't people see past the scientist who manipulate data and hide data from us?

Person who posted the pictures. That means nothing one could have been in winter and the other in summer. I do not know if you realize this but snow melts in the summer.

That's a pretty serious allegation there, young fella. I hope you have some pretty serious evidence to back it up with. Accusing scientists of fraud isn't something one does lightly (unless one is a GW denialist, in which case one can accuse away, because nobody cares).

Scientists are awesome.  Especially ones that will make my resort on the Kamchatka peninsula a huge success!  I've been saving for years for a chance to get ahead and Al Gore and his cronies had the answer the whole time... now that I am a firm believer I can look forward to basking in my thong where seals used to play. Ye haw!

Excellent question, as you'll see, the answer is simpler than you think, being a case of not seeing the forest for all the trees, so to speak.  

The answer is because most of those scientists don't get a lot of exercise and spend months out of every year eating rich fattening meals are fancy restaurants when they go to conferences with other scientists and discuss how to get more money from the government for their nefarious schemes.  The lack of exercise and overeating (sloth and gluttony, they are two for seven so far) leads them to be huge men in their fields, if you get my drift, and when they stand shoulder-to-shoulder they block the sun and you could hide the USS George H.W. Bush behind them, let alone a few bytes of data.  

That's why people can't see past them.

I am almost certain you are speaking of Michael Mann and this article:

I say this because you write "the scientist" and this incident with Mann is the most famous one.  But Mann is not the only scientist who does not archive and share his data the way scientists are suppose to.  

The people at RealClimate.org continue to support Mann, even though he was disgraced.  If they really wanted any credibility, they would have separated themselves from Mann and lived by the standards of science.

When Warwick Hughes asked Phil Jones for his surface temp data, Jones replied: "We have 25 years invested in the data.  Why should we give it to you when you are just going to try to find something wrong with it?"  

The reason is so errors may be found and corrected and the science improved.  When Jones and others refuse to share data, it looks like they have something to hide.  Skeptics will always be skeptics until the Warmers make all their data and methods available.

melting glaciers doesnt mean anything really.  If people knew how glaciers worked, they wouldnt believe in global warming B.S.  Glaciers are made of ice, and flow off of landmasses at a very slow rate.  When glaciers flow down from greenland after a long period of build up, they melt as they near the sea, all until the next glacial building period, which is any period with increased precipitation over those land masses, which IS HAPPENING, NOW.

This is a completely normal event, the masses shouldnt be concerned.

Probably because the backing of major scientific organization means your accusations are false.

The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Meteorological Association, etc.

Does anyone seriously think these guys would support bad science?  That's not credible.

Because the mainstream media all repeat the lies, our tax money is spent on programs to frighten little kids with those lies, therefore the truth is crushed.  Hitler's Propagandist called this technique The Big Lie.  It works.

We all learned in elementary school that the glaciers started their retreat 10,000 years ago.  Before humans ever became industrialized, the glaciers had retreated 2,000 miles and the oceans had risen hundreds of feet. Al Gore hopes we've all forgotten so he can make us feel like we should hand over our money for something nature has been doing all along.
