  1. It bothers me when I see questions that are sterotypical.  Not everyone who lives in the Hood or in a bad neighborhood commits crimes.  Some do.  It is this type of thinking that explains why the USA will never be at peace with itself.  I don't hink that everyone who lives in Beverly Hills is stuck up and do coke.  There are alot of Americans that have grown up in bad neighborhoods that have never commited crimes, they end up on TV, in sports or with college degrees.  I think that the reason why crime invades those areas is because some think they can't make it out.  Some find them selves in positions where crime is the easier way out and lack the ability to say no, and some are just down right dumb.

  2. Because committing crimes is a job in itself.

  3. thats because its harder than you think. most people in the hood already have criminal records, didnt pass high school or in a clique which dictates them in the wrong direction (sometimes they think thats all they have) which leave them to have the mentality to just sit around and get cash the easy way (drugs). deminishing thier chances to actually get a real job either because they dont want to or because employers want better personel ie no criminal background, someone who has a highschool diploma or GED, reliable, etc.

  4. i most def. agree with Melanie. it's mad hard to live there, 'specially with personal situations that you have and there's really noone that can help you sosometimes you jus gotta do what needs to be done ta get by

  5. http://www.deliberatedumbingdown.com/

  6. they live in seclusion and their interaction with the high class is through committing crimes. I don't support their actions but they have dreams of making it big even with their criminal backgrounds and lack of education, crime is just a way of making it big. and if they do they move outta the hood and quit crime for more respectable professionals.

You should have some people in mind if you can dig this

  7. lazy. They watch too many videos glorifying the gangsta life. They don't realize its a video and in real life those guys go to work to record and come home to their families in the suburbs

  8. not all ppl in the "hood" commit crimes

and not all ppl have a hard time living there

its depending on how your raised and who you choose to follow and what crowd you hang around

  9. not all people in "the hood" commit crimes, look at people who gad made it to tv with the crazy crimes they have commit not all of them live in the hood

  10. I agree with your question 100%, and a good one it would be nice to see some answers to your question. I think that the justice system is to lenient on these ones and even if they get sent to prison they have a cushy time that it is not any form of punishment at all, as i always thought that going to prison was to deprive them of all they would have in the outside, but i have read that prisons these days are more like holiday camps, so no wonder why they don't mind being sent inside.I know that i have gone off the track with reguards to your question but i was just thinking about if they got caught commiting their crimes that nothing would happen to them, well nothing that would bother them, (sorry about going off track)

  11. I take this question personal. No one can judge anyone that lives in the "hood" until you;ve lived there yourself and deal with poverty and violence and pressure from gangs. Alot of these people have no other way to take care of there family and eat and survive. Not everyone was brought up with a silver spoon in there mouth. Never judge or make assumption on anyone untill you've had to sruggle and I mean really struggle, then you'll Know why.

  12. for one reason most people have criminal records if they do then they can not work in a reasonable society they aren't allowed once you have a felony on your record you are forbidden from working gainful work
