Why can't science answer questions with certainty?

  1. because the questions are too difficult and we don't have the technology to prove the answers. so they're uncertain


  2. Because the questions are stated in terms that are subject to interpretation

  3. Scientists don’t know everything. If they did, there would be

    no need for any more science.

Science answers questions about events in the real world.  Certainty implies that all possible events have already taken place, and their outcomes are known.  However, this is not the case in the real world.  Something new can happen, and this reduces science from a position of certainty to a position of strong probability.
