Question:

Why can't taco bell get my order right?

I really like Taco Bell but I always feel pressured to check my bag before pulling away from the drive thru. If I attempt to do this, the drive thru person tells me everything is there and to please move up or the person behind me might honk. Sure enough, about 75% of the time anyway, my order is not right and I have to either go back or just eat what they gave me. I worked fast food when I was in high school so I know that sometimes it gets busy and mistakes are made. I know that when I pull up to the window, I know what I want and my order is never huge. I always ask for no tomato on any of the items, or sometimes I ask for sour cream on my Mexican pizza. It can't be that hard can it? I always end up with tomatoes and on the rare occasion they do put the sour cream on my pizza, it's always just a tiny squirt on one side. Sorry, this is more of a rant than a question I guess. I'm just tired of feeling like a bad person for wanting what I paid for.

  1. they never get mine right either!

  2. The one by my house is like that also. So is McDonalds. It sucks, I know.

  3. I have the same problem at Toco Bell with a twist. At the one in my town they don't say "May I Take Your Order" they just ask you "How are you doing." I don't get it. I don't want you to ask me how I'm doing because I just might tell you all about how crappy a day i had and that i just want my freaking order. And I keep wondering why they think three packets of hot sauce is going to be enough for a grande pak.

  4. A real Mexican restaurant should have smart, experienced beaners.

  5. becuase they are ghetto and didnt go to college lol

  6. I think its because its young people that work their. My 22 yr old niece always tells me the same thing. She said sometimes they get an attitude

  7. you have to stick up for yourself - don't be a pushover - and get what you wanted. stay in the drive-in and check it. if they messed up AGAIN speak with the manager.

  8. Because its taco bell, what do you think this is Casa De Mexicana?

  9. You must visit the same one I do.They never get our order right.Something is always wrong or missing..mostly missing...p*sses me off...and I do tell them if I catch it before I pull away...

  10. Here's what could happen:

    1.  Some fast food places time their workers and try to drive down the time it takes for an order to be fufilled at any cost.

    2.  During busy times someone may be trying to coordinate four orders and might have slipped up.

    3.  The taco maker might have gotten so fast at making it a particular way, that it's just reflex that he adds the tomato.  By the time he realizes you didn't want tomato it's in the bag.

    Here's some tips:

    1.  Don't go through the drive through, walk in through the door and order.

    2.  If you go in regularly, and are nice, the workers will recognize you and become friendlier.  They are stressed out and would love a friendly face.

    3.  If you do this and you make the same or similar orders every time, they might see you walking in the door and already start making it before you order.

  11. Fast food is just what it says.  My experience with all drive throughs is that they just want to get you out and get your money.  God forbid that we tell them that the order is not correct!!! Rant all you want to, but I advise you to check and re-check and ignore honkers.  If the order is wrong, tell them and don't move until it is correct, even if you have ask for a manager to come to the window.  It's your hard-earned money, and you deserve to get exactly what you are paying for, so - get aggressive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Actually, there is great satisfaction in accomplishing something you want!

  12. Because they suck. You need to go to Taco Villa.

  13. Because it's minimum wage at a fast food joint?
