Why can't the 1st chapt. of Breaking Dawn be posted online since it's already in Eclipse anyways?

Plus, the 1st chapt. in Midnight Sun is already posted online and that's going to be the LAST book! I don't get it.

  1. Well, it is because it is Copyrighted. Stephenie Meyer wrote this on her website (www.stepheniemeyer.com) :

    "Many people are still having a difficult time understanding the concept of Eclipse Special Edition. It is Eclipse, but includes the cover art and first chapter of Breaking Dawn. We will be posting the cover art on Monday, June 2nd, but will not be allowed to post the first chapter on our site until within a few days of the release on August 2, 2008."

    If I do find it, I will let you know!!
