Why can't the CFL be more like the NFL?

they should make the field 100 yards (not 110) long, and as wide as NFL fields (it's wider too), then it wouldn't look like the arena league on steroids.

because they will lose business if they try to compete with the NFL(America's most popular sport)

I totally disagree with you.

What have 4 downs to make ten yards.  A team should only need three downs.  Make the field smaller?  I think its about the right size.  In all I think the CFL brand of football is far more exciting than the NFL because of those reasons.  I also don't think that changing toward the NFL rules would bring more people to watch the games.  I would really like to know where you came up with this idea.

I myself find the NFL brand of football really boring.
